There are two ways to add a class to the Prodeus library.
1. Add while on Youtube: To add a class you must simply find a video you'd like to watch on youtube. After you've opened the video, open the Prodeus chrome extension and make sure you're on the activity page. In the 'Now Playing' section of the activity page, you will see information about the video you are currently watching. If it says 'Not in library' a blue button should be seen at the bottom of the 'Now Playing' section that says "Add Class". Click this button and follow the steps in the Add Class sequence. It will automatically populate the title and description of the video you're watching. You only need to select the relevant category for the class and select the appropriate difficulty. Click the green 'Add Class' button and then exit out of the add sequence screen.
2. Add Manually: To add a class you must copy the Youtube video URL for the class you'd like to add. After you've copied the URL, click the menu icon on the upper right hand corner of the Prodeus extension. Click the 'Add Class' button and follow the steps in the Add Class sequence. Once you pasted the URL into the section titled it will automatically populate the title and description of the video you're watching. You only need to select the relevant category for the class and select the appropriate difficulty. Click the green 'Add Class' button and then exit out of the add sequence screen.
ProDegrees are a professional certification that reflects your progress from apprenticeship to mastery. Each skill tier reflects a certain amount of working hours, in a similar way to a traditional university degree. As you watch more Prodeus classes on Youtube, you will accrue hours to your ProDegree. To see your progress, simply navigate to the Degrees tab of the chrome extension and click on the relevant ProDegree.
The primary reason your time watching a class won't be tracked is because the video has not yet been added to the Prodeus library. If this is the case simply add the class to the library and then the time will be dynamically tracked.
Occasionally you may need to refresh your browser window so the Prodeus extension will track.
The Prodeus chrome extension will not let a student make a review for a class until they have watched a minimum of 75% of the class. As soon as you have watched 75% of a Youtube class, the 'Add Review' button in the Now Playing section of your activity monitor will turn blue. Once the button is blue you will be able to add a review.
